The GIMBE Foundation presented the 6th Report on the National Health Service on 10 October 2023 at the Sala Capitolare of the Senate of the Republic.

The Report analyses the system’s major criticalities – public funding, healthcare expenditure, essential levels of care, State-Region governance, personnel, implementation of the PNRR – in order to raise awareness on the one hand among politicians to put public healthcare back at the centre of the agenda, and on the other hand among all healthcare stakeholders to become leading players in order to consolidate the social value of the SSN, renouncing acquired privileges in order to relaunch the common good. And it proposes the ‘NHS Relaunch Plan’ to guarantee all people the constitutional right to health protection.
