“European Data Protection Regulation – the impact on the activities of CROs”.
The purpose of the meeting is to offer participants an update of the legal framework in relation to the European Regulation 2016/679/EU on the protection of personal data.
Profiles with a significant impact on the activities of CROs in relation to clinical trials will be considered, including the issues of data transfer to third countries, data security and the different balances of responsibility with regard to investigators.
In addition, the changes introduced by the Regulations with regard to the ordinary management of the company, for example the management of employees and the appointment of the Data Protection Officer, will be discussed in greater detail.
The study will have a practical and applicative approach, aimed at providing precise indications and possible solutions to concrete problems.
A Question and Answer (Q&A) session will be scheduled at the end of the meeting in order to allow participants to receive any clarification on specific issues.
